Elected Members

Waitakere City Council consists of 37 elected members (Councillors and Community Board Members and a Mayor). These people are the primary link between the Council organisation and the community it represents. Councillors make policy for the Council, that is, they decide what activities Council should be undertaking and how these should be funded.
