Do I have to use a recycling bin?
Recycling will only be collected from the
140L Mobile Recycling Bin (Wheelie Bins). Recycling in crates or
cardboard boxes will not be picked up. If you have surplus recycling,
please carry it over until the next collection or squash any plastic bottles to
create more space. Discuss with a neighbour the possibility of putting
your excess recyclables in their bin, bring your sorted recyclables to the
Transfer Station for Disposal (no charge) or request a larger bin. The bins are over 3 times the capacity of the old
recycling crates, therefore, inadequate capacity should not be a problem.
