It is best practice to make this decision and advise the applicant and submitters as soon as is reasonably
practical after the closing date of submissions
The date of the hearing must be set no more than 25 working days from the date submissions closed
Hold the hearing.
Notification of the decision - serve notification of the decision on
the applicant and submitters:
Where a hearing was held, no later than 15 working days after the conclusion of the hearing
Where no hearing was held, no later than 20 working days after the close of submissions, or the date any further information was received

Closing date for appeals - a notice of appeal must be lodged with the Environment Court and served on the consent authority
within 15 working days of notice of the decision being received by the applicant and submitters.
