Activity Galore

A favourite park for young people, Parrs Park features a skate board ramp, swimming facilities, basketball hoops, a playground and almost endless open space for ball sports, especially soccer.  Plans are afoot to add petanque courts to the activities offered here.

Beside the park is one of Waitakere's urban marae: Hoani Waititi. This area is already a centre for learning in the City and will grow to incorporate a University.

How to get there

From West Coast Road, Parrs Cross Road, Seymour Road or Benita Place.

Attention skateboarders: There are also great skateboard parks at Shadbolt and Te Pai Parks.
