park has multiple entry points and multi-uses.
Let off steam on the open playing fields (at the Granville Drive entry) or warm up for walking in the
Waitakere Ranges
with a bush walk through
native forest along the Manutewhau
stream . Moire Park is also a great place to picnic.
For a longer hike, cross Lawsons Bridge which takes you across the tide towards West Harbour.
Moire Park is a magnet for joggers and orienteering groups as well as for budding kite-flyers.
