Litterbins are emptied up to twice in the major commercial centres, up to six times a week for minor commercial centres and once a week for other locations.

However, if a litterbin is overflowing, please contact us and the contractor will be sent out to empty the litterbin.

• The desired location of a new bin (nearest shop or street address), or location for bin to be moved to.
• The reason why you think a litter bin should be at that location

The Council's Waste Minimisation Officer will investigate all requests regarding Council supplied litterbins and take the appropriate action.

Note: Providing litterbins at some shopping centres such as Westgate, Lynnmall, etc is the landlord's responsibility.
