The role of the Community Park Ranger is an important link
between the community and the Council's Parks team.
Rangers
are the eyes and ears of the community, reporting on
anything from vandalism, graffiti and litter to providing
information and education to the public.
Rangers are also encouraged to build relationships with
their local people and community groups to promote safer
parks and communities.

Waitakere Central Library
Did you know that as well as offering you fantastic library services, Waitakere Library and Information Services can also offer some customer service functions through five of its local library branches - Massey, New Lynn, Glen Eden, Te Atatu Peninsula and Titirangi.
You can pay your Council bills (by cheque or Eftpos), download Council forms, find out about Council projects and initiatives, and even register your dogs - all in the comfort and convenience of your own library!
Library staff have been trained with a multiskilled approach, and are confident in handling many Council enquiries, so please make use of this innovative service, and enjoy your free library membership while you are visiting.
