Community Centres are an important focus for the social and cultural life of our communities. Centres now being built or refurbished in Waitakere City incorporate artworks into the architecture and landscape that reflect the history of the site and express a vision for the future. The artworks in the following Centres are the result of partnerships between artists, architects and the local community; and demonstrate Waitakere City's commitment to
arts/design collaboration in the building of its public facilities.
