Hospice West Auckland’s Christmas Remembrance Trees (STARS) appeal will take place from 7-24 December 2009. Christmas trees will be located at Westgate, West City, LynnMall, and Kelston shopping centres, West Wave and PSIS. More trees will be at Helensville’s Unichem, outside the ASB at Te Atatu Peninsula and at Lincoln Rd’s Mitre 10 Mega. Trees will also be at Titirangi and Coatesville local markets and Christmas parades in Henderson, Te Atatu, Helensville and Kumeu.
Shoppers will be invited to write a message to a loved one on a silver or golden star decoration, hang it on the tree, and make a donation to Hospice West Auckland.
Outrageous Fortune fans will have an opportunity of winning a great prize. Donations of $10 or more will go in the draw to win a walk-on part with a friend in the next series.
