Every year local businesses generously donate resources and volunteers come along to help children and a wide variety of gifts are made. It is a chance for children to give a little back to their families and to learn that Christmas doesn't have to come out of a store.
Christmas giftmaking 2009 will be on Saturday 5 December 2009 at West Wave Recreation Centre, Alderman Drive, Henderson.
Children can register to attend the morning session (9am - 11.30) or the afternoon session (12.30 - 3pm).
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Donations of items are welcome.
Volunteers are needed to assist on gift stations during both sessions.
