Portfolio of Corporate and Business Services
The Corporate and Business Services Directorate carries out
the core corporate business functions and civic support services
- functions of the previous Corporate and Civic Services
Directorate. It includes the existing teams of Information
Management, Legal Services, Democracy and Support Services,
Human Resources, and Unit Coordination and Support. The
Directorate includes the Quality Assurance team that has moved
from its previous Directorate with the exception of Issues
Resolution.
The Corporate and Business Service Director is also responsible
for undertaking a review of the governance arrangements of
Council Controlled Organisations (CCO's) (Waitakere Enterprises,
Waitakere City Holdings and Waitakere Properties). The review
will clarify how best this relationship management should take
place.
The Library and Information Services and Maori Relationships
teams has moved across to the Community Wellbeing Directorate.
Corporate Sustainability has moved to the Strategic Planning
Directorate.
