Waitakere City Council supports a wide range of groups in
the community who provide local services and activities on a
voluntary or 'not for profit' basis.
In 1998 the Council adopted a Community Assistance
Policy. Its aim is to help local community groups to operate effectively and provide services to meet local needs.
