Infratil-Waitakere Community Awards
Introduction
The Infratil-Waitakere City Community Awards have been set up to
recognise and celebrate the achievements of, or work undertaken during a 12
month period, by voluntary groups and organisations in the community.
Volunteers are the heart of our community - dedicating a tremendous amount
of time and energy to help make it a better place in which to live. Infratil
and Waitakere City understand that, which is why we want to honour and
reward volunteers through our Community Awards Program.
The Infratil Waitakere City Community Awards are open to all voluntary and
not-for-profit organisations.
The Awards are about celebrating and acknowledging volunteers and the
generous amount of work they do in our community.
Through the Infratil Waitakere City Community Awards, volunteers are given
the recognition they really deserve! No matter how big or small your group
may be, if it's a club, society or group which involves volunteers, then the
Infratil Waitakere City Community Awards are for you.
There are five categories in which groups can be nominated.
A. Heritage and Environment B. Health and Wellbeing C. Arts and Culture D. Sport and Leisure E. Education and Child/Youth Development
