Infratil-Waitakere Community Awards
Introduction
Volunteers are at the heart of every community -
dedicating hours of time and energy every year to make their
community a better place to live!
Waitakere City Council and Infratil Limited understand
that, which is why we celebrate and reward volunteers
through our Community Awards programme.
The Infratil/Waitakere City Community Awards are open to
all voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations - from
health support groups and school PTA's to sports and service
clubs.
The Awards are about celebrating the tremendous amount of
work volunteers do in our communities. Through the Infratil/Waitakere
City Community Awards, volunteers are given the recognition
they really deserve.
No matter how big or small, if your group, club or
society involves volunteers - then the Infratil/Waitakere
City Community Awards are for you.
Over the last five years the Infratil/Waitakere City
Community Awards have grown into one of the region’s largest
volunteer-based Awards programmes.
