Waitakere Refuse and Recycling Transfer Station

The Transfer Station receives and processes waste, separating it into categories (glass, plastic, metal, wood, green waste etc.) and items of value are recovered. This helps to minimise the waste sent to the Redvale landfill to be buried.

The transfer station accepts most forms of waste including general rubbish, green waste, building materials, and recyclable materials.
