The Recreation Centre is due to
re-open from Monday 3 March 2008 and will be available
for hire by user groups from then onwards.

needs and hire details or an application for hire pack with
supporting information and current hire charges.
The Recreation centre offers a range of activities and
programmes suitable for all ages regardless of fitness
level. A number of clubs and community groups also run their
own programmes from the centre, the choices are practically
endless.
There are 3 playing courts; indoor sports include
basketball, volleyball and badminton, as well as a
gymnastics area, multi-activities room and a café/ kitchen
area.
You can also hire the centre on a casual basis. Available
for all kinds of activities: meetings, major exhibitions,
dances, weddings – you’re limited only by your imagination.
