Dog Registration Renewal

If your dog has been previously registered in Waitakere City you should receive a renewal notice in June each year. Please note you can only use this online service if the details on your renewal notice have not changed since last registration.

• Please check the following details are correct on the notice:
  • Class of dog
  • Your address
  • Name of owner

Strip tags are not available if registering online. Owners who register online will receive a letter confirming your renewal along with the disc tag for your dog.

• Please have the following information ready:
  • Animal renewal notice received from Waitakere City Council

  • Your credit card – Visa and MasterCard only

• Pay your dog registration now

• What happens next:
  • Your dog registration is now paid, please keep the payment reference number with your renewal notice
  • Your disc(s) for your dog(s) will be sent out shortly
