Waitakere Learning Centres
Do you need to use a computer but don't have one at home? Are you a total
beginner and want to learn about computers? Do you want some help with computer
based activities? The Learning Centres are here to help and offer free
access to computers and the internet for all Waitakere City residents and
ratepayers.
The Learning Centres are up-to-the-minute and staffed by friendly coordinators
who are trained and keen to help all patrons whether through classes or by
giving one-on-one assistance.
Waitakere has seven computer learning centres. Five are library-based at
Glen Eden Library,
Ranui Library,
Massey Library,
New Lynn
War Memorial Library and
Waitakere Central Library. Two are stand-alone
centres at Te Atatu Peninsula
and Sturges West.
To use the centres, come along with your library card. Registration takes only a
couple of minutes. If you don't have a library card, it is quick and easy to
join the library.
