The Centre is in the heart of Te Atatu South, just off Edmonton Road (behind the St Johns Ambulance Station).

About this centre

The Te Atatu South Community Centre is close to community amenities such as the Te Atatu South Library, the supermarket and other shops.

The Centre has a main hall with a capacity for 230 and a meeting room with a capacity for 100. 

With a kitchen that has a serving bench to the meeting room, this makes Te Atatu South an ideal function venue for events such as Weddings, 21st’s and Engagements.

Ample chairs and tables are provided.

A white-board is affixed to the meeting room wall.

Situated close to the motorway, it is easy to access from all Waitakere City areas, as well as Auckland City.

The Centre provides an excellent venue for activities ranging from:

  • Weddings
  • Socials
  • Markets
  • Sporting events 
  • Community based activities

 

Booking this Centre

Before booking a Community Centre, please ensure you have the following information available:

  • The nature of your event or meeting
  • The number of people expected
  • The Centre and room(s) required (contact us for help if you are unfamiliar with the Centres)
  • The date and time of your required booking
  • Any equipment requirements

Once your booking is confirmed you will receive information on the Conditions of Hire, the fire evacuation procedures and your booking number. You will need your booking number when you pick your key(s) up.
