Drainage Consent?
A Minor Plumbing and Drainage Consent is for plumbing and drainage work
up to the value of work not exceeding $15,000 and not associated with other construction work for which a
building consent is required. The application can be made
at the appropriate Council service centre at any time. Contact us for details.

By completing an Application for Building Consent form along with Lodgement
Checklist and payment of
appropriate
fee.

What do I provide?
Two copies of plans and specifications indicating the scope and layout of the proposed work.

What will I receive from the Council?
Examples of minor consents

If the work does not comply, a Notice to Fix will be issued detailing the non-compliance. Once the work has been rectified in compliance with the Building Code, a
Code Compliance Certificate will be issued.
