Building Consents
 

Council issues consents for building in the City. 'Building consent' replaces the term 'building permit'. 

Note: The building consent process has been changed.  We recommend you read these updates before proceeding.

The Building Act 2004 came into force on 31 March 2005.  For all enquiries please contact us.   For a summary of the changes see our media release.
