Pet of the Week

Each week new pets will be featured here who are available for adoption. Animals who have previously featured on this page but have not yet found a home will continue to be shown also. 

Come along to Animal Welfare, 48 The Concourse, Henderson or phone us on (09) 836 7777.

We are open 10.30-4pm weekdays and 11-2 weekends. Closed public holidays only.

We have lots of kittens, dogs,  puppies and rabbits  that need a home, so if you are thinking of getting a pet.....please try a rescue first!

Hi, My name is Gonzo and I am a tan and white heeler cross of approximately 6 months.

I am social and sweet and have a great temperament to join any family willing to give me a forever home.

I will cost $220 including my desexing, vet check, vaccination, registration and microchipping.

Please come and have a play with me and my friends at Animal Welfare Waitakere.

We also have some kittens and cats awaiting adoption.

Tikka the Ginger Kitten

My name is 'Tikka' and I am a ginger kitten of 4-5 months old.

My friends have all been adopted around me but I am super playful and me and my littermate 'Crunch' (also a ginger male) are in need of a friendly family to adopt us.

We will cost $85 each which includes our desexing, vaccination, de-fleaing and de-worming and an adoption pack including food.
