Code of Practice - City Infrastructure and Land Development

The Code of Practice for City Infrastructure & Land Development – Engineering Standards Manual is intended for use by developers, contractors and consultants who are involved in the design and installation of facilities and services within Waitakere City.

The standards presented in this document are the minimum required to obtain Council approval for a project and should be read in conjunction with the District Plan which is the controlling document empowered by the Resource Management Act 1991. The purpose of the District Plan is to "promote the sustainable management of natural and physical resources".
