Finding out more about the important heritage features in Oratia and Waiatarua.

The heritage features are those things that individually or collectively contribute to the significance of the area. The features include ecosystems, landscapes and landforms, the human culture of the Heritage Area both past and present, and the Regional Park.

The Council has collected information on the features of Oratia and Waiatarua and produced the information sheets and maps below.
